Doggerland Issue#1 contains the first fruits of our ACE GfA from late last year,
in the shape of two newly commissioned pieces of writing from William
Kherbek and Hannah Regel, an insert of poems also by Hannah, plus a
conversation with Matthew de Kersaint Giraudeau.
William Kherbek's essay, 'Techno-Feudalism and The Tragedy of The
Commons', looks at the work of economist Elinor Ostrom, Airbnb, and the
exploited commons of social media.
Hannah Regel's text, 'A Dwelling', explores her personal motives behind
setting up a reading group in her home, Kombucha brewing, and
uninstitutional aromas. Complimenting the text is a small insert
featuring several of her poems.
In addition to these new texts is a conversation with Matthew de
Kersaint Giraudeau, discussing the research project The Bad Vibes Club,
his collaborative practice in The ARKA Group, experimental broadcasting
with Radio Anti, amongst other things.
